Welcome to Saint John Lutheran Church!

WHO:

We are Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Established in 1867, we are affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We operate a Lutheran Day School. Pastor Bryan G. Lundquist has shepherded our congregation since 2002.

WHAT:

We are:

  • A Confessional Lutheran Church: We believe, teach and confess that the 39 books in the Old Testament and the 27 books in the New Testament are the infallible and inerrant Word of God and the sole source of our doctrines. We subscribe unconditionally to The Lutheran Confessions (The Book of Concord of 1580) as a true and faithful exposition of the Word of God.
  • An Evangelical Church: We are Evangel (Gospel) centered in our preaching and teaching.
  • A Liturgical Church: We use The Lutheran Service Book at every worship service.
  • A Sacramental Church: We administer the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper according to Christ's institution and command.  The Lord's Supper is served weekly at every worship service.
  • A Teaching Church: We emphasize Christian education and offer many learning opportunities.
